Make a difference.

Every donation helps to keep the school we love going strong.

Our school depends on people seeing the value LES brings to our children and our community.

In this time of unprecedented challenge for schools across the country, the Leverett Education Foundation is committed to sustaining the excellence of our local school, and also to supporting programs that foster a safe, equitable, and enriching environment for the school community. While we did not form our foundation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are adapting to the ever-changing educational landscape along with you. We see these values as beacons for our foundation as our school approaches new challenges in the years ahead.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Leverett Education Foundation (EIN 84-3905453). Your gift will make a difference to the children, educators, staff and parents of the Leverett Elementary School.

Three ways to give:

  1. Make an unrestricted gift to LEF. LEF will use these flexible donations to offer grants to the school on an as-needed basis for needs that fall outside current campaigns.

  2. Create an endowment. A reliable source of income will enable LEF to help LES for years to come, stabilizing and sustaining the kind of educational programs that make our school strong.

  3. Donate to a campaign. LEF will identify areas of specific need in consultation with the school and raise funds to help bridge those financial gaps. In 2024, we are focusing on supporting our teachers with our Leverett for LES Challenge.

The Leverett Education Foundation uses less than 5% of all donations to sustain our modest operating budget and to develop local events and programs that support our educational mission. This allows us to continue the work of raising money for our school and to keep the community informed of why supporting LES is important to everyone in Leverett.

By donating to LEF you are supporting not just what our children learn today but who they will be tomorrow.
